About the role
Design, price and sell Indonesia holidays for the travel agents and tour operators who book with Explera.
Explera is a B2B destination management company. We do not sell to travellers directly: travel agents, tour operators and OTAs send us their clients, and we plan and run the trip on the ground. As Indonesia Holiday Advisor you are the destination expert our partners call first.
You turn partner enquiries into clear, well-priced Indonesia itineraries for honeymooners, families, FIT travellers and small groups, follow up until they confirm, and hand confirmed files to our operations team in Bali.
What a typical week looks like
- Answering new partner enquiries within hours with day-by-day itineraries and quotes
- Following up on open quotes and converting them into bookings
- Suggesting hotels, experiences and routings that fit each client's budget and travel dates
- Training partner agents on Indonesia in short online sessions
You work with our sales team in India and the Gulf and our contracting and operations teams in Indonesia.
What you will do
- Prepare tailor-made Indonesia itineraries and quotes for B2B partner enquiries
- Follow up on quotes and convert them into confirmed bookings
- Recommend hotels, transfers, tours and experiences that fit the client brief and margin
- Hand confirmed bookings to operations with complete, accurate files
- Keep partners updated on new products, seasonal offers and travel requirements
- Record every enquiry and booking in our booking system and CRM
What you bring
- 2+ years in travel sales, reservations or itinerary planning, ideally selling Indonesia
- Strong knowledge of Indonesia's key cities, hotels, seasons and experiences
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
- Quick, accurate costing in Excel or a booking system
- Valid right to work in Indonesia
