About the role
Advise Explera Indonesia on contracts, licensing, employment and data protection.
Explera Indonesia signs contracts every week with partners, hotels and transport and activity suppliers, and runs a licensed travel business. As Legal Advisor you are the local legal point of contact for the country manager and group leadership.
You work with tourism business licensing (NIB / OSS), the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), manpower regulations and supplier and partner contracts, and you manage external counsel where needed.
What you will look after
- Partner, supplier and service agreements: drafting, review and negotiation
- Business licences, registrations and renewals
- Employment contracts and policies, with HR
- Data protection and consumer complaints
What you will do
- Draft, review and negotiate partner, supplier and service contracts
- Keep business licences, registrations and corporate records up to date
- Advise HR on employment contracts, policies and disputes
- Maintain data protection compliance and respond to data requests
- Handle claims and complaints and manage external counsel
- Train local teams on contract basics and compliance
What you bring
- Indonesian law degree (S.H.); PERADI advocate licence or in-house legal experience preferred
- 4+ years of corporate, commercial or in-house legal practice in Indonesia
- Experience with travel, hospitality or services businesses is a plus
- Bahasa Indonesia and business English (drafting and negotiation)
- Clear, practical advice that the business can act on
- Valid right to work in Indonesia
